Dinosaurs are coming to the Science Centre for a Jurassic Takeover
You will be able to walk with a Triceratops, roar with a giant T-Rex, scream with a Spinosaurus and run with a Raptor! Learn how to become a Dinosaur Ranger.
Meet Tank The Triceratops, Zeus the Giant T Rex, Richie the Raptor, and Dolly the Dilophosaurus
Tank the Triceratops stomps on to the scene, the stunning frill around his horned face is head-turning. This impressive giant of a beast is 5.5 metres long, 1.5 metres wide and 2.3 metres tall!
Reaching dizzy heights of up to 12ft tall and a whopping 22ft in length, Zeus will amaze audiences with his incredible height and presence! Our Rangers are doing their utmost to train this Jurassic beast! When Zeus the T Rex whips his head around and roars, you can hear the gasps from the audience and every camera will be out to capture the scene!
He opens and closes his enormous mouth, baring his huge, sharp teeth, and with his loud ROAR he will be heard far and wide! We suggest you cover your ears!
Richie Raptor – he’s mischievous, naughty, highly intelligent, extremely vocal and not so cuddly
Dolly the Dilo comes to life, complete with realistic movements, roars, and jaw-dropping features. From the intricate details of her scales to the awe-inspiring frill that flares when she’s ready to make an impression.
At the Base camp, we will be running Ranger Training. Have you got what it takes to become a Dinosaur Ranger?
Bring your Dino-Mites to Ranger Training Base Camp where they will learn how to look after and control our wild dinosaurs!
We will be running training sessions on both Saturday and Sunday and highly recommend pre-booking when tickets become available.

Genius Café Sessions
A “Genius Café with David Hewlett” — a smaller, more intimate event for around 8–10 people, available with a separate ticket. It’s similar to a Meet & Greet, but in a relaxed setting with David and members of the science panel.
For these smaller Café sessions, we will have ESA goodies such as stickers, badges, and similar items to give away to participants.
We plan to run one Café session on each day. More booking information to follow!
